Description

The CZ 457 Varmint MTR is a bolt-action rimfire rifle in 22 LR, built for target shooting and varmint hunting. It has a heavy cylindrical barrel that the manufacturer describes as aiding harmonics and accuracy across a range of rimfire loads. The Match chamber is cut to a tight specification, which suits top-tier ammunition.

The rifle has a 20.5-inch barrel, an overall length of 34 inches, and a weight of 7.08 pounds. It holds 5 rounds and has a stainless steel barrel with a blued finish and a black stock. It ships without iron sights and has an 11mm dovetail on the receiver for scope rings, so it is ready for optics.

The right-handed stock uses a vertical grip with palm swell and stippling, and a flat forend with dual QD studs for a bipod and sling.
