Description
The CZ 457 American SR is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR, intended for plinking, training and small-game use. It ships without iron sights and is designed to be mounted with an optic, and it has an 11mm dovetail milled into the receiver for scope ringmounts.
The rifle has a 20.5-inch threaded barrel and an overall length of 38.5 inches. It weighs 5.4 pounds and holds 5 rounds. The receiver and barrel are stainless steel with a blued finish, and the stock is Turkish walnut with a high, flat comb and checkering. The bolt rotates 60 degrees for easier scope clearance, and the trigger is adjustable for weight, creep and over-travel. A push-to-fire safety is included. The rifle is right-handed.
