Mossberg ~ 44 US-a ~ .22LR

Mossberg Model 44-US(a) this particular .22 is the same as those issued during WWII for troop training. BUT...this one was made in 1944-1946 and was never owned by the government or used by the military, the (a) is indicative of the first series made for civilians post war--there is also no S/N, another indication of civilian market. There is no PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVERNMENT stamp or any cartouches anywhere. Gun is heavily worn in all areas, inside of barrel is surprisingly very good and rifling is nice! Interested? Give us a call, and we would be happy to talk about it & ship free of charge to any Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's of your choice. Thanks---Your Cabela's / Bass Pro Gun Sales Team
