Savage 24V Series C Rifle/Shotgun, .222 / 20 Gauge

The Savage Model 24V (Series C) is a versatile, American-made over-under combination gun that pairs a centerfire rifle barrel over a smoothbore shotgun barrel. Introduced to offer hunters a single, adaptable platform for both varmint hunting and small game, the "V" designation specifically denotes the Varmint series chambered in high-velocity centerfire calibers like the .222 Remington. The Series C variant represents a specific production block manufactured primarily during the 1970s and 1980s, recognized by its distinct selector switch location and receiver finish.
