Description
The Caldwell Lead Sled Solo 2 is a shooting rest designed for sighting in a rifle or shotgun while reducing the felt recoil that can make the process unpleasant. Its pivoting frame allows fast elevation adjustment, and its offset design accommodates firearms with detachable magazines, pistol grips, or lever actions.
The weight tray holds up to 50 pounds of lead shot or the Caldwell Lead Sled Solo Weight Reservoir to absorb recoil. The rear support has a shock-eliminating pad that cushions the shoulder and helps protect the stock and scope. The front rest provides coarse elevation adjustment and is built to handle all-weather use. The manufacturer states it reduces felt recoil by up to 85 percent.
