CGS Group Piston .40 S&W 9/16x24 Suppressor Accessory

CGS Group Piston Features The CGS Group Piston is built specifically for .40 S&W pistols running a suppressor addressing the common reliability issues that come from adding significant mass to the muzzle end of a handgun. A compact 2 inch overall length keeps the piston from adding unnecessary bulk to the suppressor system while still providing the recoil impulse needed for proper slide cycling. The 9/16x24 thread pattern is a widely used standard for .40 caliber pistol hosts making this piston a drop-in fit for many existing suppressor setups. Reliable cycling matters most in a defensive or range context where a sluggish slide can mean a failure to properly extract or feed the next round. The piston is finished in a nitride coating a treatment known for its hardness and corrosion resistance under repeated firing cycles. At only 1.3 ounces the added weight to the muzzle assembly is minimal helping preserve the handling characteristics of the host pistol even with a suppressor mounted. Suppressor accessories like this piston are often the difference between a can that runs flawlessly and one that causes malfunctions on a pistol not designed from the factory to be threaded. For shooters building out a dedicated suppressed .40 S&W pistol setup this piston from CGS Group is a purpose-built solution for sale at ARMSAGORA.
