Description
The Chiappa Rhino 60DS is a six-shot double-action/single-action revolver chambered in 357 Magnum and 38 Special. Its defining design feature is a cylinder that sits below the bore rather than above it, which lowers the bore axis close to the shooter's palm and is intended to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil.
The revolver has a 6-inch steel barrel with a nickel-plated finish and an overall length of 10.5 inches. The frame is nickel-plated aluminum alloy, and the barrel shroud is aluminum alloy as well. The hammer is concealed and snag resistant, and a visible cocked indicator shows hammer status. Sights are a fixed fiber optic front and an adjustable fiber optic rear. The listed weight is 2.06 pounds. Walnut grips and moon clips are included.
