Chiappa 1892 Trapper 44 Magnum 16" Gold Lever Action Rifle

Chiappa Firearms 1892 Trapper Features The Chiappa Firearms 1892 Trapper is built on the proven 1892 lever-action design chambered in .44 Mag for versatile close to medium range performance. Its 16 barrel keeps the rifle fast-handling and maneuverable in tight cover while the 1-in-20 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .44 Mag loads for consistent accuracy. The 8+1 round capacity gives hunters and plinkers plenty of rounds on tap without the bulk of a longer-barreled rifle keeping the action quick to run between shots. A short buckhorn adjustable rear sight pairs with the front sight for precise aim across typical lever-gun engagement distances letting the shooter dial in windage and elevation for different loads and ranges. The hand oiled walnut stock gives the 1892 Trapper a warm traditional look while standing up to repeated handling in the field with the hand applied oil finish bringing out the grain and offering real protection against moisture and wear. Its gold applied finish sets this Trapper apart from standard blued lever guns giving it a distinctive eye-catching appearance that suits both the range and the display case. At 34 overall and 7 lbs the rifle remains light and quick to shoulder for fast follow-up shots making it an easy carry on long treks afield or around camp. A hammer safety adds a layer of carry confidence making the Chiappa Firearms 1892 Trapper a capable choice for hunting cowboy action shooting and collectors alike who want classic styling with dependable modern performance.
