Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy Trapper 44-40 16" Lever Action Rifle

Cimarron Firearms 1866 Yellowboy Trapper Features The Cimarron Firearms 1866 Yellowboy Trapper is manufactured by Uberti in Italy a company renowned for producing historically accurate reproductions of classic Old West firearms. Chambered in .44-40 Win the 16 round barrel and slab-sided receiver profile made the original 1866 easy to carry in a saddle scabbard a design feature preserved faithfully in this Trapper model. The brass frame gave the rifle its historic Yellow Boy nickname among Native Americans who encountered it and that same brass construction carries through on this reproduction. A dovetail blade front sight paired with an adjustable ladder rear sight offers period-correct sighting equipment that remains genuinely functional for practical shooting. The walnut straight stock gives the rifle a traditional look and feel that echoes rifles carried by historical figures from Sitting Bull to Bill Doolin. A brass buttplate matches the frame s brass furniture tying the rifle s aesthetic together from stock to receiver. At 7.39 lbs the Trapper s shorter 16 barrel makes it lighter and quicker to handle than the longer-barreled Sporting Rifle variants in the 1866 lineup. This blend of historical accuracy and practical handling makes the Yellowboy Trapper a standout choice for cowboy action shooting and collecting available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
