Cimarron Model 71 Premium Walnut 45-70 Govt 24" 5-Round Lever Action Rifle

Cimarron Model 71 Premium Features The Cimarron Model 71 Premium is built on a Browning-designed 5-shot lever action originally created to modernize Winchester s famed Model 1886 into a serious big-game rifle. This half-magazine configuration pairs the historic lever-action platform with the powerful .45-70 Govt chambering a combination proven effective on everything from whitetail to dangerous game in the African bush. The deluxe pistol-gripped stock design improves handling and control during quick follow-up shots in the field. Faithfully reproduced by Davide Pedersoli for Cimarron the Model 71 Premium brings a proven historical design back into the hands of modern hunters and sport shooters. Hand-checkered Walnut wood covers the stock and forearm giving the rifle a warm traditional look and a secure confident grip in wet or cold conditions. The 24 blued barrel and frame combination delivers a classic finish that resists corrosion while complementing the rifle s fine wood furniture. Adjustable rear sights and modern front sights allow precise aiming and the rifle is fitted for sling swivels for comfortable carry afield. A thick rubber recoil pad absorbs the substantial recoil of the .45-70 cartridge making the Model 71 Premium a comfortable and dependable companion for hunters chasing big game across rugged terrain.
