Description
The Cimarron Model P Pre-War is a single-action revolver modeled on the 1873 Colt Single Action Army, the frontier sixgun originally adopted by the U.S. Cavalry. It is a reproduction intended for shooters and Old West enthusiasts who want a traditional handgun in 45 Colt.
The revolver has a 4.75-inch barrel, a six-round steel cylinder, and a steel frame with a color case hardened finish. It uses an exposed hammer, a wide front sight, and walnut grips. The Cowboy Comp action is listed as an improvement over the original 19th-century design. At 2.48 pounds, it is a balanced single-action revolver.
