Colt Al Capone Sweetheart 1911 45 ACP 5" 7-Round Pistol

Colt Firearms 1911 Al Capone Sweetheart Features The Colt 1911 Al Capone Sweetheart reproduces one of the most iconic and romanticized firearms of the Prohibition era built around the proven Government Model design and chambered in .45 ACP. The frame slide and hardware are fully polished and finished in high gloss blue giving the pistol the same striking presentation as the original Sweetheart. Detailed floral scroll engraving covers both sides of the slide a hallmark of high-end Colts from the period transforming the firearm into both a functional sidearm and a piece of art. The left side of the slide carries the traditional patent roll marks of Colt Manufacturing Company while the right side displays the Colt Automatic Calibre .45 Rampart roll marks alongside the Government Model designation on the frame. Custom sights match those of the original Capone Sweetheart pairing an adjustable rear sight with a serrated partridge front sight for a precise period-correct sight picture. A checkered front strap and a 25 LPI checkered mainspring housing echo the original s handling features making this both a stout shooter and an heirloom collectible. Genuine vintage red deer stag grips finish the pistol each one naturally unique in bark and grain so no two sets are exactly alike. Each of only 200 pistols in this limited edition carries its own series number from 001 through 200 on the rear panel making this Colt 1911 Al Capone Sweetheart a numbered piece of Prohibition-era history for the collector s safe.
