The stainless steel body slides into and supports the action (with bolt assembly removed) while the attached hardened tool steel lug engages the 12 o-clock bolt lug raceway in both the receiver and barrel extension holding the action in position while the user applies torque (using the appropriate DELTA 5 barrel nut wrench) to tighten or loosen the barrel nut.
