Description
The Daniel Defense M4A1 RIII is a semi-automatic AR-15 style rifle chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington. It features a fully ambidextrous lower with bolt catch, safety selector and magazine release, plus an ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, allowing left- and right-handed shooters to operate controls without moving their grip.
The rifle uses a 14.5-inch Cold Hammer Forged M4 profile barrel with a permanently attached flash suppressor, and a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver with black hard coat anodized finish. A 12.5-inch RIS III M-LOK handguard replaces the RIS II quad rail of the original M4A1, reducing weight while retaining M203 grenade launcher compatibility. It weighs 6.52 pounds, measures 32.25 inches overall, and accepts 30-round AR-15 magazines.
The flat dark earth furniture and ergonomic Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip complete the package.
