The size of the rear sight apertures have built in yardage estimators designed to indicate when birds are in range. When a turkey's head and neck are within the circular orange ring on the Beard Buster rear sight, it is 30-35 yards from the shooter. When a duck's wings span from one side of the Duck Buster oval rear sight to the other, it is 30-35 yards from the shooter. The bases of both front and rear sights are constructed of T-6 aircraft-grade aluminum, and easily mount onto any standard ventilated rib. The rear sights adjust for windage and elevation.
