Description
This is an 8-round magazine for 1911 pistols chambered in .45 ACP, including the Commander model. It is built on the original 7-round design, with the tube lengthened to accommodate an eighth round while keeping the same follower design.
The magazine is made of stainless steel with a black nitride finish. It includes a steel follower, a heavy-duty spring, and an oversized non-slip base pad that wraps around the tube and can be removed for disassembly and cleaning. The tube and follower have a finish intended to reduce friction during loading and insertion.
The base pad includes blank number templates on the bottom for marking and tracking individual magazines.
