Firefield 223/556 In-Chamber Red Laser Boresight 223 Rem/5.56 NATO

The Firefield 223/556 In-Chamber Red Laser Boresight is a brass laser bore sight for zeroing rifles chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO. It is designed to be placed in the chamber so a red laser dot shows where the barrel points, letting you adjust the sights to a theoretical impact point before live fire. Live fire is still needed to fine-tune for bullet drop and windage.

The unit runs on either 2 AG5 or 3 AG3 batteries and emits a red laser in the 632 to 650 nm wavelength range. It is rated for sighting ranges of 15 to 100 yards, with a dot size of about 2 inches at 100 yards, and operates between 15 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Its brass construction is compact and lightweight for easy packing and travel.
