Fortis Manufacturing SS Fifty Ambidextrous Safety Selector OD Green AR-15

Fortis Manufacturing SS Fifty Features The Fortis Manufacturing SS Fifty replaces the standard socket and torx screw design found on most AR safety selectors with a patent pending RidgeKey locking mechanism. This system secures the ambidextrous lever onto the selector core at a single solid point of contact removing the weak points that let factory screws loosen or shear off over time. A cutout design on the lever lets the shooter see the selector core beneath it confirming the mechanism is properly seated before the rifle ever leaves the bench. The 50 degree throw gives a quick positive transition between safe and fire for duty competition and home defense applications. Construction starts with ambidextrous 6061 T6 aluminum levers mated to a 4140 steel selector core a pairing chosen for strength without adding unnecessary weight to the controls. The core is coated in black nitride which smooths the surface feel under the thumb and adds meaningful resistance to wear from repeated cycling. Finished in Olive Drab Green anodizing the SS Fifty gives a Caliber matched visual upgrade over flat black controls while keeping the same corrosion resistance. For AR-15 owners seeking a safety selector that will not loosen rattle or fail under hard use the Fortis SS Fifty is a straightforward reliable upgrade.
