Description
The Geissele Maritime is an ambidextrous AR-15 bolt catch designed to replace the mil-spec bolt catch on M16 and M4 style lower receivers. It holds the bolt open after the last round and releases it for a fast magazine change, and it is built for shooters who want a larger, easier-to-reach control.
The bolt catch is machined from 8620 steel, heat treated and finished in black manganese phosphate. Its extended levers have an enlarged surface area and aggressive checkering, which gives a positive grip feel when shooting with gloves or in low light. The extended controls let left-handed shooters operate the catch with the index finger of the left hand without breaking their grip.
It is intended to fit any lower receiver built to accept a mil-spec M16/M4 bolt catch.
