This patented CAM-LOK interface enables rapid, repeatable mounting with a 3/4 socket wrench and a taper-lock system that remains secure even as the piston reciprocates during firing, eliminating the common looseness and the resulting baffle or end-cap strikes that plague traditional designs. With three equally spaced 120-degree mounting positions, users can attach or detach the suppressor in any orientation without false positives slowing deployment, while Griffin Armaments stringent squareness and concentricity standards ensure minimal, consistent point-of-impact shift across positions. The CAM-LOK pistons are compatible with universal QD barrel adapters and offer interchangeability across CAM-LOK barrel adapters and pistons from different brands, so one system supports multiple host firearms without disassembly or thread-pitch changes.
