The Griffin Armament DUAL-LOK 5 5.56 is a suppressor for 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington rifles, built for hard-use applications. The tube is made from 17-4PH stainless steel reinforced with 718 Inconel and finished in High Temp Cerakote for heat and wear resistance. It is laser welded and tubeless, and the mount uses a taper lock interface with an ACME thread and a locking ring with three anti-rotation teeth across 120 effective positions. The unit is compatible with DUAL-LOK mounts and includes a DUAL-LOK Minimalist Brake in 1/2x28 thread pitch. The flash-reducing, flow-optimized end cap is intended to help control signature and gas behavior. The suppressor is rated for full-auto use, with listed sound ratings of 135 dB with an 11.5-inch barrel and 134 dB with a 16-inch barrel using the MK1 configuration.
