Description
The Griffin Armament Optimus 6 Utility Mount is a 6mm suppressor built with 3D printed additive manufacturing and a high-flow baffle design intended to reduce backpressure while maintaining sound and flash suppression. Its quad-tine flash hider end cap is tuned alongside the baffle stack. The tube body is machined after printing for a smooth exterior.
The suppressor is made from 17-4PH stainless steel and finished in black Cerakote. It weighs 15.2 ounces and measures 6.59 inches overall. It uses a HUB 1.375x24 TPI mount, which is compatible with HUB-compatible hosts. The blast shield and mount are machined in-house and laser-welded to the baffle core. The design is optimized primarily for 5.56mm platforms and also handles 6mm projectiles.
