Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate Carbine 45 Colt 16.5" Lever Action Rifle

Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate Carbine Polished Hardened Brass Lever Action Rifle - 45 (Long) Colt - 16.5in - If the thought of carrying a full-length rifle up a mountain or through the brush is weighing you down, take a load off with the Big Boy Brass Side Gate Carbine, a modern interpretation of the trapper classics of the past. This compact package combines all the features of the legendary Big Boy Rifle with the quick handling characteristics of a shorter, carbine length barrel shedding nearly a pound in barrel weight. It's the ideal brush gun for tight spaces, but don't let its compact 16.5in blued steel octagonal barrel fool you. The shorter barrel gives up nothing in accuracy to the standard rifle, and the factory-installed large loop lever aids in rapid lever manipulation, even when wearing gloves. This carbine is an easy rifle to pick up and a difficult one to put down. The carbine model now sports a side loading gate, allowing you to top off the seven-round tube magazine without dropping the rifle from your shoulder. Henry has also retained the traditional magazine tube, allowing for safe and easy unloading. With both loading options at your disposal, you'll always have your rifle at the ready. Features a large loop lever. This example comes with the original box and shows normal wear.
