Henry Big Boy Side Gate Carbine 357 Magnum/38 Special 16.5" Lever Action Rifle

The Henry Big Boy Side Gate Carbine is a lever-action rifle chambered in 357 Magnum and 38 Special, built for field use and brush work in tight spaces. It is a carbine version of Henry's Big Boy design, with a shorter barrel that reduces weight and speeds handling.

The rifle has a 16.5-inch octagonal barrel with a 1:16 twist, an overall length of 35 inches, and a weight of 7.75 pounds. Its tubular magazine holds 7 rounds, and a side loading gate allows the magazine to be topped off while the tube can be removed for safe unloading. Sights are an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with a reversible white diamond insert and a brass bead front. The straight-grip stock and forearm are select American walnut, with a brass receiver and barrel band and a blued finish. It is offered for right-hand shooters.
