Description
The Henry Big Boy Side Gate is a lever-action carbine chambered in .44 Magnum and .44 Special, built for hunters who want a traditional rifle with a side-loading gate. It features a 16.5-inch octagonal barrel with a blued finish and a polished brass receiver.
Sighting is handled by a brass bead front sight and a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a reversible white diamond insert. The straight-grip stock and forearm are made of American walnut, and the rifle uses a tubular magazine holding 7 rounds plus one in the chamber, with a transfer bar safety. It weighs 7.75 pounds and measures 35 inches overall, with a right-hand configuration.
