The Hexmag HX Series 2 CFC is a 10-round carbon fiber magazine for AR-15 rifles, designed for 5.56x45mm NATO, .223 Remington and 300 AAC Blackout ammunition. It is intended as a replacement or additional magazine for shooters using these platforms.

The magazine uses a patented hexagonal surface pattern and pronounced front and back ribbing to aid grip during magazine changes. An anti-tilt follower with equal-length legs keeps rounds in a straight double stack, and a high-visibility follower helps with safer chamber clearing. The spring is heat-treated 17-7 PH stainless steel, which resists corrosion and allows long-term storage while loaded. The body is carbon fiber construction, which the manufacturer describes as reducing weight while maintaining strength.
