Description
The HEXMAG HX Shorty is a 10-round polymer magazine for AR-15 pattern rifles, chambered for 223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO and 300 Blackout. It is offered in an OD Green finish and is intended for sport, competition and tactical shooting use.
The magazine uses redesigned feed lip geometry and a deep catch pocket for stability in the rifle. Stripper clip guides are included for faster reloading. The floorplate is tool-less for field cleaning and removal, and a heat-treated stainless steel spring is used for extended storage periods.
The design supports the SENTRY HexID color ammunition identification system and Hexmag grip tape accessories.
