Description
The HiperFire XAK Braided Mainspring is an AK-platform replacement mainspring for AK-47 and AK-74 fire controls. It is built from tri-twist music wire and finished in black, and is intended for use with HiperFire XAK triggers as well as stock and aftermarket AK fire controls.
According to the manufacturer, the spring is designed to give a pull weight of just over 2 pounds and a firm, positive reset when paired with HiperFire XAK triggers. Pull weight and feel can vary between receivers and triggers because there is no single standard across AK platforms. Stated pull weights apply only to the combination of HiperFire XAK triggers and XAK mainsprings; the manufacturer does not guarantee results with other brands.
