Description
The HiViz CT2009 is an interchangeable front sight for the 1911 platform, designed for Colt 1911 models with a wide tenon front sight. It uses a solid steel body with fiber optic LitePipe inserts to provide a bright front sight picture for faster sight acquisition in varied lighting conditions.
The sight is supplied with six interchangeable LitePipes in green. The blade height is measured from the top of the sight blade to its bottom, not including the tenon portion. The dovetail is slightly oversized to allow for variance between firearms, so fitting will be required. Installation requires a sight staking tool, and HiViz recommends gunsmith installation.
