The HIVIZ Front Sight for Smith & Wesson 617 revolvers is a replacement front sight machined from solid steel. It is designed for revolvers with pinned front sights, with a green fiber optic LitePipe insert intended to improve visibility and speed of sight acquisition in varying light conditions. The LitePipe is overmolded with clear resin for added durability.

Height is measured from the top of the sight blade to the bottom, not including the dovetail portion.
