HIVIZ LiteWave Novak 1911 Front Sight Fiber Optic Green

The HIVIZ LiteWave Front Sight is a steel 1911 front sight fitted with a fiber optic LitePipe insert, intended to improve sight picture and speed of acquisition in varying light. It is designed for pistols using a Novak-style dovetail, including Novak, Sig Sauer, Rock Island and Armscor 1911 platforms.

The sight is machined from solid steel and uses a 0.090 inch diameter LitePipe. The LiteWave design accepts interchangeable LitePipes, and the package includes green, red and white inserts. The dovetail is specified as .330 x .075 at 65 degrees and is slightly oversized, so fitting will be necessary. HIVIZ recommends gunsmith installation.
