Description
The Hoppe's Viper BoreSnake is a one-pass bore cleaner for rifles chambered in 7mm and .270 to .284 caliber. It is pulled through the barrel from the chamber end using the T-handle, carrying a bronze scrubbing brush through the bore to remove fouling in a single stroke.
The brush is attached directly to a nylon pull cord, and the cord is stamped with a brass weight for the size. A cone-shaped bore guide on the leading end helps the assembly enter the bore straight. The unit includes a lubrication zone along the cord. The manufacturer rates its brush cleaning power at 50 percent more than the standard BoreSnake.
The Viper is sized for 7mm Remington Magnum, .270 Winchester and .284 Winchester rifle bores.
