The CX bullet is a one-piece monolithic copper alloy design that does not separate on impact and is rated for 95% weight retention. Its Heat Shield polymer tip is intended to resist aerodynamic heating and maintain a consistent ballistic coefficient over the bullet's flight path. Rated muzzle velocity is 2900 fps.
