Howa M1500 Stainless 7mm PRC 24" 5-Round Rifle

Howa M1500 Features The Howa M1500 is built around a receiver machined with the bolt and bolt handle forged as one piece giving the action exceptional strength and consistency shot after shot. Dual opposing locking lugs in a Mauser type pattern lock up securely while the cold hammer forged stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist rate is matched to heavier 7mm PRC bullets for long range accuracy. The HACT two stage trigger breaks between 2.5 and 5 pounds with most rifles testing out around 2.75 pounds giving shooters a light crisp release without sacrificing safety margin. An M16 style extractor and ejector along with a no tool bolt assembly keep the action reliable in the field. The black Hogue synthetic stock provides a durable weather resistant platform that will not warp or swell like a wood stock in wet conditions. A three position safety gives shooters flexibility to load and unload the rifle safely while keeping the bolt locked when needed. Howa backs this rifle with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee when used with quality factory ammunition a meaningful assurance for hunters chasing long range game. At 7.5 pounds this rifle balances well for both bench shooting and field carry.
