Howa M1500 7mm PRC 24" Green Stainless 5-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Howa M1500 Features The Howa M1500 features a receiver machined with the bolt and bolt handle forged in one piece giving the action a level of strength and precision that benefits long range accuracy. Dual opposing locking lugs in a Mauser type pattern provide secure lockup and the cold hammer forged stainless barrel with a 1:9.5 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 7mm PRC bullet weights. The HACT two stage trigger breaks between 2.5 and 5 pounds with most rifles testing near 2.75 pounds giving shooters a crisp release that supports precise shot placement. An M16 style extractor and ejector combine with a no tool bolt assembly to keep the action dependable in the field. The green Hogue synthetic stock offers a durable weatherproof platform that resists the warping and swelling that can affect a wood stock. A three position safety lets shooters manage the rifle safely while keeping the option to load or unload with the bolt locked. Howa s sub-MOA accuracy guarantee with quality factory ammunition gives hunters confidence in the field on long range shots. At 7.5 pounds this rifle carries comfortably on extended hunts while still offering a stable platform on the bench.
