Iver Johnson IJ500 Realtree MAX-5 12 Gauge 3.5" 28" 5-Round Shotgun

Iver Johnson IJ500 Features The Iver Johnson IJ500 runs a self-regulating gas system with two interchangeable pistons one tuned for shells under 1.15 ounces and a heavier piston for shells over that weight giving the shotgun reliable cycling across the full range of 12 gauge loads from light target shells to heavy 3.5 magnums. The 4140 hardened steel barrel and receiver stand up to years of field use in wet harsh waterfowl conditions. A front fiber optic sight combined with a brass bead intermediate sight gives the shooter multiple reference points for fast target acquisition on crossing birds or approaching turkeys. Five Mobilchoke-pattern choke tubes are included letting the shooter tailor pattern density to the range and species being hunted. Wrapped in Realtree Max-5 camo across the synthetic stock and forend the IJ500 blends into marsh and timber environments where waterfowl and turkey hunters spend their time. The synthetic stock resists the moisture and abuse that a wood stock would struggle with in wet hunting conditions while keeping the shotgun lightweight for long days in the blind. A 28 vented rib barrel balances swing speed with the pattern control needed for longer shots at incoming birds. Built for hunters who demand dependable cycling in tough conditions the Iver Johnson IJ500 is ready for the field straight out of the box.
