Iver Johnson 500 Max-5 12 Gauge 3" 28" 5-Round Semi-Auto Shotgun

Iver Johnson Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Habitat Max-5 Features The Iver Johnson Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Habitat Max-5 runs a semi-auto action that cycles both 3 and 2-3/4 shells letting a hunter switch loads for different birds without swapping guns. The 28 barrel carries a vent rib for fast sighting down the plane and accepts Mobilchoke style choke tubes so the constriction can be matched to the range and the shot. A brass bead front sight rides at the muzzle for quick target pickup in low light a detail waterfowl hunters rely on at first and last light. Built on a semi-auto platform with a 5-round capacity the gun stays in the fight through a volley without reloading mid-flush. The synthetic stock keeps weight down and shrugs off wet marsh conditions better than wood while the Max-5 camo hydrographic finish breaks up the shooter s outline against reeds and timber. A rubber recoil pad softens the push of heavier 3 loads over a long hunt and the 14.5 length of pull is sized for a natural consistent mount. At 7 lbs 2 oz and 49 overall the shotgun balances well for all-day carry in the blind or the field. The Iver Johnson Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Habitat Max-5 gives budget-minded waterfowl and upland hunters a camo-finished semi-auto ready for the field.
