Iver Johnson 1911 5" 45 ACP Threaded Barrel No Link/Pin

Iver Johnson 1911 Commander Barrel Features The Iver Johnson 1911 Commander barrel is built in .45 ACP with 6 land and groove rifling and a 1:16 inch twist rate matched to the standard that Commander size 1911 pistols have used for decades. The .578x28 threaded muzzle opens the door for mounting a suppressor or compensator expanding what a Commander frame can do without a full gun purchase. A thread protector cap is included to keep the threads clean and the muzzle finished when a device is not mounted. Some fitting may be required during installation since 1911 barrels are hand fit by nature and the barrel does not include the link or pin from the original setup. Constructed from 4140 steel and finished in black oxide this barrel is built to hold up to repeated firing cycles while resisting corrosion. The black oxide finish also matches the factory look of most blued and black 1911 pistols so it blends cleanly after installation. This barrel is designed specifically for Commander size 1911 frames and does not fit Gen2 1911 pistols so buyers should confirm compatibility before ordering. Iver Johnson built this barrel as an affordable way to add threading to a Commander 1911 and it is available for sale at ARMSAGORA for pistol owners who want suppressor readiness without buying a new gun.
