Iver Johnson 1911 45 ACP 5.75" Threaded Barrel Black

Iver Johnson 1911 Barrel Features The Iver Johnson 1911 Replacement Barrel is machined in .45 ACP with a 5.75 inch length that matches the government size 1911 platform. A 1:16 inch twist rate paired with six lands and grooves preserves accuracy and stability through the bore. The threaded muzzle cut at .578x28 TPI allows the installation of a compensator muzzle brake or suppressor for shooters looking to add those options to their 1911. A thread protector cap is included to keep the threads clean and protected when no muzzle device is installed. Finished in a durable black oxide coating the barrel matches the look of most factory blued and black 1911 finishes while resisting corrosion. The barrel does not include a link or pin and some fitting may be required to achieve proper headspace and lockup in an individual pistol. It is designed for government size 1911 frames and is not compatible with Gen2 Iver Johnson 1911 models. For 1911 owners who want a threaded option on their government frame pistol this barrel is a straightforward upgrade path.
