Iver Johnson 1911 A1 Government 38 Super 5" 9-Round Chrome Pistol

The Iver Johnson Arms 1911 A1 Government is a semi-automatic pistol built on the 1911 platform and chambered in 38 Super. It is a Series 70 design, which means it has no firing pin block, and it carries a bright polish chrome finish over a steel frame and slide.

The pistol has a 5-inch barrel, a 9-round capacity, and fixed sights: a rear dovetail sight with vertical serrations and a fixed post front sight. It weighs 2.69 pounds. The flat serrated steel mainspring housing and the finger relief cut near the trigger guard are noted features. The forged slide and cast frame are CNC machined and hand fitted, with each slide fit to an individual frame.

The package includes one magazine, a gun lock, a manual, and a hard black plastic lockable case. The grips are black diamondwood.
