JE Machine Tech Fluted 6-Position Mil-Spec AR-15 Buffer Tube Black

JE Machine Tech AR-15 / AR-10 Fluted Buffer Tube Features The Je Machine Tech Fluted Buffer Tube is machined with seven fluted channels running along its length a design choice that reduces overall weight compared to a standard smooth buffer tube. Beyond the weight savings these flutes also lower the felt friction between the tube and a sliding stock giving the stock a smoother more consistent motion when adjusting length of pull. Three drain holes are milled into the rear position locks allowing moisture and debris that accumulate inside the tube to clear out rather than collecting and causing corrosion or malfunction over time. Built to 6-position Mil-Spec dimensions the tube is compatible with the wide range of Mil-Spec stocks already available on the market. Machined from aluminum and finished in a Type 3 hard anodize coating the tube offers strong resistance to wear and corrosion through repeated use and handling. At 7.15 inches in length with an inner diameter of 1 inch and an outer diameter of 1.145 inches the tube fits standard AR-15 and AR-10 lower receivers without modification. Weighing just 3.3 ounces this buffer tube contributes to an overall lighter rifle build a meaningful benefit for competition shooters and anyone looking to trim weight from their platform. The Je Machine Tech Fluted Buffer Tube gives AR builders a refined functional upgrade over a standard mil-spec tube.
