Description
The KAK Industries Extended Flash Hider is a muzzle device for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Its extended body is intended for builders who pin and weld it to a 14.5 inch barrel, bringing the overall barrel length to just over 16 inches once permanently attached.
The device measures 2.06 inches in overall length and uses 1/2x28 threading to match standard 5.56 NATO muzzle threads. It is heat treated and finished in black phosphate for corrosion resistance. Milled flats on the body provide a wrench surface for installation, and a pre-drilled hole supports pin and weld attachment.
A crush washer is not included and should be sourced separately to set proper timing and index during installation.
