Description
The Kestrel 5700X Elite is a handheld weather meter and ballistic solver made for shooters who work at extended ranges. It combines environmental measurement with a ballistic calculator that uses the Applied Ballistics bullet library of custom drag models.
The meter reports wind speed, wind direction, crosswind, temperature, humidity, pressure and altitude, and it can store and chart readings. The Applied Ballistics library accounts for each bullet's drag profile along with Aerodynamic Jump, Spin Drift, Coriolis and Drop Scale Factoring. Bluetooth low energy links the unit wirelessly to mobile devices and computers and to LiNK compatible laser range finders. The 5700X does not include Easy Mode or the MV Cal Guide.
