The Kestrel 5700 Elite Weather Meter with Applied Ballistics and LiNK is a handheld weather meter and ballistics solver for long-range shooting. It is designed to account for environmental conditions and bullet flight, including the transonic and subsonic portions of the trajectory, so shooters can estimate holdover and windage more precisely.

The unit features a larger, higher-resolution display with improved contrast and font readability compared with the earlier Kestrel 4500. It includes a dual-color backlight, an extra-strong polycarbonate lens, and AA battery operation. The meter is drop-proof, dust-proof, and waterproof, and is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions.

This model is finished in Flat Dark Earth. LiNK connectivity allows it to work with the free Kestrel LiNK Ballistics app for building and managing ballistic profiles.
