Description
The Kick-EEZ Pre-Fit Recoil Pad is a black Sorbothane shoulder pad for shooters who want to reduce felt recoil without replacing the stock. Sorbothane is a shock-absorbing polymer, and at 1-1/8 inches thick the pad provides substantial cushioning during extended range sessions or with hard-recoiling loads.
The pad is pre-shaped to closely match the Remington 1100 Competition, Ken Rucker Autobuster and Ken Rucker Bump Buster stocks, and it comes very close to fitting the Tristar Viper G2. Because stock dimensions vary, final fitting may require sanding with a disc or belt sander, starting at 80 or 100 grit and finishing at 220 or 400 grit. The radiused edges give a clean finish once fitted.
