The LANTAC E-BCG Enhanced is a bolt carrier group for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO or .223 Remington. It is machined from 8620 steel, with a shot-peened bolt made from Carpenter 158 steel that is magnetic particle inspected. The carrier body receives an electroless nickel boron (NiB) coating applied through the manufacturer's UCT EXO process, which the listing describes as offering a friction coefficient of 0.02 and a surface hardness of 82 to 85 HRC.
