The LBE Unlimited AR15 Bolt Carrier Gas Key is a replacement or upgrade component for AR-15 bolt carrier groups. It directs gas from the barrel into the bolt carrier to cycle the action, so it plays a direct role in reliable semi-automatic function.

The key has a black manganese phosphate exterior finish intended to resist corrosion and wear, and a chromed interior finish intended to reduce carbon buildup and friction for consistent gas flow. It is built to fit most AR-15 and M16 bolt carriers.
