For your consideration, the Lithgow Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) III Trainer bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 LR. A training rifle modeled after the Australian Lithgow SMLE No. 1 Mk III, this model was produced in 1944 with matching barrel and reciever. It was imported by John Jovino Co (JJCO) who imported a large quanity of these rifles in the 1980s.
