Lockdown Silica Gel Desiccant Dehumidifier 750 Gram Canister

The Lockdown Silica Gel Desiccant Dehumidifier 750 Gram Canister is a safe accessory designed to reduce moisture inside enclosed storage. It is intended for use in gun safes, cabinets, drawers, closets and other sealed spaces where condensation can lead to rust, mildew and corrosion on stored firearms and items.

The canister is filled with silica gel, a desiccant that absorbs moisture from the surrounding air. Its crystals change color as they become saturated, indicating when they need attention. The silica gel can be recharged in an oven, allowing the canister to be reused. The 750 gram size is rated to protect up to 57 cubic feet of enclosed space.

The product is silver in color and is sold under the Lockdown brand as model Silica 750G. Lockdown also offers a smaller 40 gram size for spaces up to 3 cubic feet.
