Lockdown Silica Gel Desiccant Dehumidifier 40g Canister

The Lockdown Silica Gel Desiccant Dehumidifier 40g Canister is a moisture absorber for enclosed storage, intended for gun safes, drawers, cabinets and closets. Its silica gel crystals draw humidity out of the air to help prevent condensation, rust, mildew and corrosion on stored firearms and other items.

The canister holds 40 grams of silica gel and is rated to protect about 3 cubic feet of enclosed space. The crystals change color as they become saturated, signaling when they need replacing. They can be recharged in an oven, so the unit can be reused. The product is white and is described by the manufacturer as non-toxic.
